The Developers Services Center has completed the issuance of the first electronic building permit linked with the Al-Ahsa Municipality as the first municipality to be linked electronically with “Etmam”. The Developers Services Center “Etmam” was linked electronically with the Al-Ahsa Municipality last week.

Mr. Nayef Al-Sharif, Director General of “Etmam”, said that the link with the municipalities aims to facilitate the work of real estate developers to accelerate the pace of work in the real estate sector and residential projects, as integration between the concerned parties will contribute to shortening time and facilitating procedures.

The Developers Services Center had issued requests for building permits with an area of ​​474,530 m2 and a number of units reaching 3096 housing units in 2018 to move to a new stage after the electronic link, which is positively reflected in the speed of completion and the doubling of the number of requests for building permits.

It is worth noting that the “Etmam” platform provides many services of interest to the business sector and real estate developers to facilitate transactions with government agencies, as they can send requests electronically by accessing the Etmam platform (https://etmam.momrah.gov.sa), and requesting the building permit service.
