The Developers Services Center "Etmam" affiliated with the Ministry of Housing, in partnership with the Jeddah Municipality, launched the electronic link to issue building permits for real estate projects, which aims to develop and improve the business environment in the real estate development sector and enhance service integration with government sectors.

His Excellency the Mayor of Jeddah, Mr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, explained that the electronic link to issue building permits with the "Etmam" Center is an important step towards facilitating transactions for the real estate development sector and an incentive to increase investment in this sector, which achieves the main goal of the housing program in Vision 2030 to provide adequate housing, increase supply and diversify housing options.

The municipality has actually begun implementing the linking procedures to issue building permits for the units of the Rabaa Jeddah project, which is 1248 housing units, as the electronic link is one of the facilities that represent integration between the relevant government agencies to contribute to automating procedures and speeding up their completion.

For his part, the Director General of the Developers Services Center "Etmam", Eng. Abdul Wahab Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the electronic link aims to facilitate the work of the real estate developer and improve the services provided to him. He also indicated that the cooperation and support from the secretariats that have been linked with so far represents the spirit of integration between all government sectors concerned with real estate development to achieve the national targets for the housing sector. He added that the link with the Jeddah Governorate Secretariat to issue building permits translates the tireless efforts that "Etmam" seeks to achieve in terms of increasing the growth of the real estate development sector by facilitating procedures and integration with all relevant parties related to real estate development, which is greatly reflected in investments, indicating the constant readiness for every step that would develop the services provided to the real estate developer.
