His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his loyal Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect them - for the issuance of the Cabinet's decision to approve the establishment of the Real Estate Developers Services Center "Etmam" affiliated with the Ministry as an official center with an independent entity.

His Excellency explained that this decision comes as a continuation of the continuous and great support that the housing sector and all initiatives and activities related to the real estate sector receive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his loyal Crown Prince - may God protect them - stressing that this has a great impact on the real estate development sector and increases its effectiveness as a basic tributary of development in the national economy.

His Excellency stressed the Ministry's dedication to implementing the directives of the wise leadership to improve the real estate development sector environment, find incentives for real estate developers and investors, and create an attractive investment environment by accelerating the pace of work in residential real estate projects, developing and facilitating their procedures, and addressing the challenges and obstacles facing the real estate developer. This is what the Ministry of Housing was keen on by establishing the "Etmam" initiative to serve real estate developers.

The issuance of the decision of the esteemed Council of Ministers to establish the "Etmam" Center officially reflects the keenness of the honorable leadership to provide the appropriate investment environment in the real estate sector, improve the services provided, and facilitate all means to achieve the housing program targets, as the center contributes through its various services that integrate with the entities supporting the real estate development sector in raising the level of awareness of the real estate developer and seeking to overcome the obstacles that may face him in implementing the project.

The Cabinet's decision to approve the establishment of the "Etmam" Center as an official center with an independent entity to support the real estate development sector, its services, procedures and transactions, and to play a strategic role as a government initiative aimed at overcoming obstacles facing real estate developers in residential projects, which contributes to providing housing options for citizens and increasing the appropriate supply to meet all different needs. It is worth noting that the "Etmam" Real Estate Developers Services Center cooperates with the relevant authorities related to real estate development to review documents and plans to ensure their compliance with the requirements and standards and raise them, and follow up on the request with the various authorities until the approvals are issued and delivered to the beneficiary. The center is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Housing aimed at stimulating the private sector and building an effective partnership with the citizen to enable him to obtain suitable housing.
