The Real Estate Developers Services Center (Etmam) completed the approval of 59 plans with areas exceeding 144 million m2 in various regions of the Kingdom in the first half of 2020. This comes from the strategic goal of improving the performance of the real estate sector, increasing its contribution to the GDP, and providing integrated solutions to real estate developers. It also provided many services to real estate developers.

Among other services provided by the Developers Services Center (Etmam) to real estate developers and owners of residential projects, the center completed building permit applications for residential units during the first half of 2020, totaling 16,609 units. The center also completed the issuance of certificates to qualify real estate developers, totaling 68 certificates. The center received inquiries about the validity of the deed, totaling 173 deeds. The center also dealt with requests to confirm the registration of workers, totaling 3,837 workers on the ministry's projects.

Among the center's achievements in the first half of 2020 in terms of developing the services provided to real estate developers, the labor approval request service was activated and the Etmam application was launched. The development of the Knowledge Hall platform was also completed, the mortgage and mortgage release service was activated, and the building technology system approval and factory financing service was launched. The partnership service with the Ministry of Housing was also launched, the off-plan sales committee service was developed on the Etmam platform, the water and sewage infrastructure network approval service was launched, and an appointment booking service was launched for real estate developers. The real estate developers library was also launched.

For his part, the Director General of the Center, His Excellency Eng. Abdul Wahab bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, stressed the strategic role played by the Developers Services Center "Etmam" as a government initiative aimed at overcoming the obstacles facing real estate developers and owners of residential projects, which contributes to providing housing options for citizens and beneficiaries and increasing the appropriate supply to meet all different needs. Al-Qahtani also noted the complementary role and fruitful cooperation provided by various government agencies for the success of the initiative and facilitating procedures and services that greatly facilitated the work of the Developers Services Center.

It is worth noting that the esteemed Council of Ministers, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God support him - has recently officially approved the Real Estate Developers Services Center "Etmam" as an independent entity.

The Real Estate Developers Services Center is one of the programs of the Ministry of Housing aimed at facilitating real estate developer procedures to support supply and enable demand, and facilitating citizens' access to suitable housing with various options, high quality and reasonable price, which results in raising the rate of home ownership, in addition to stimulating the private sector to invest in the housing projects sector.
