The Real Estate Developers Services Center (Etmam) completed the approval of 98 residential plans in 2020 with a total area of ​​235,890,637 million m2 in various regions of the Kingdom, based on the strategic goal of the initiative to improve the performance of the real estate sector, increase its contribution to the GDP, and provide integrated solutions to real estate developers. Etmam also provided many services to real estate developers.

The Director General of the Center, Eng. Abdul Wahab Al-Qahtani, emphasized the strategic role played by the Developers Services Center (Etmam) as a government initiative aimed at overcoming the obstacles facing real estate developers and owners of residential projects, which contributes to providing housing options for citizens and beneficiaries and increasing the appropriate supply to meet all different needs. He also noted the complementary role and fruitful cooperation provided by various government agencies for the success of the initiative and the flexibility of procedures and services that greatly facilitated the work of the Developers Services Center.

Within the framework of the various and diverse services provided by the Developers Services Center "Etmam" to real estate developers and owners of residential projects; the center completed by the end of 2020 building permit applications for residential units, the total number of which amounted to 32,605 units. The center also completed the issuance of 152 real estate developer qualification certificates, and the center processed 715 inquiries for the validity of the deed, in addition to dealing with 7,508 requests to confirm the registration of workers on the ministry's projects.

It is noteworthy that the Real Estate Developers Services Center "Etmam" aims to facilitate the launch of the real estate sector in the Kingdom and create an attractive environment in which the volume of investments in this sector increases from inside and outside the Kingdom, and the pace of work on residential projects accelerates, which increases the volume of housing units offered annually, and achieves the national goal of facilitating citizens' access to adequate housing.

The center, through partnership and cooperation agreements and its permanent representatives of the relevant authorities, plays the role of a link through which the real estate developer can follow up on his transactions during the various stages of developing his project.
