
“Etmam” completes the approval of 119 plans with an area exceeding 159.6 million m2
The Developers Services Center "Etmam" has completed the approval of 119 plans in a number of regions of the Kingdom with a total area of 159,654,284 square meters. Makkah Al-Mukarramah region topped the number of plans approved by the center with 19 plans with an area of 32.7 million square meters, while Asir region came in second place with 16 plans and an area exceeding 27 million square meters.
The capital Riyadh occupies third place in the ranking with 15 plans and an area estimated at about 9.7 million square meters, followed by Al-Baha region with 12 approved plans with an area of 7.5 million square meters, and Madinah Al-Munawwarah with 11 plans and an area exceeding 19.5 million square meters.
The Hail and Qassim regions come with 16 approved plans and an area of 14 million meters in favor of Qassim plans compared to 4.5 million square meters for Hail region, followed by the Eastern Region with 9 plans with 16.8 million square meters.
Tabuk region comes in eighth place with 6 plans and an area of 4.3 million square meters, then Jazan and Al-Jawf regions with 5 plans and an area of 4.9 million meters in favor of Jazan, while Al-Jawf has an area of 2 million square meters, followed by the Northern Borders region with 3 plans and an area of 7.9 million square meters, and finally Najran region with two plans and an area of 8.2 million square meters. The center provides a service for approving land division plans for real estate development companies, and this is done by submitting an application for approval of land division plans, which is divided into three stages: initial approval, approval of infrastructure networks, and final approval, by submitting the application to the center, completing the documents specified for each stage. The center, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies and consulting bodies, reviews the documents and plans to ensure that they comply with building requirements and regulations, and follows up on the application until the approval is issued and sent to the applicant.
